The BYU Copyright Licensing Office offers externship opportunities for students at select law schools to gain practical experience in the field of copyright law while earning school credit. Law student externs work under the supervision of experienced copyright attorneys to monitor current cases and other legal developments, prepare case summaries and blog posts, and complete legal research and writing projects on current copyright issues.
