Free and Low-Cost Music Resources

All members of the BYU community—faculty, staff, students, volunteers, and patrons—are expected to respect the rights of copyright owners. If the use of a copyrighted work does not qualify for an applicable exemption, e.g., the classroom exemption, fair use, etc., the work should be obtained from an authorized source. Please refer to the BYU Copyright Decision Trail for guidance on whether the use of a copyrighted work requires a license.

Although BYU does not endorse any particular sources of copyrighted content, the following resources may be helpful to members of the BYU community who are seeking legitimate sources of online content.
